Getting Started

This guide assumes you have already completed onboarding and created an empty station in Meteobreeze.

Meteobreeze supports two ways of bringing data into your station:

• Historical import for past observations
• Live data for new readings as they happen

Most users will need both. The usual recommendation is to connect a live source first, then import your history once Meteobreeze is receiving data.

Before you begin

Have these details ready before you start:

• The device or service that will send live data, if you want current updates
• The source of your historical data, if you want to backfill old records
• The timezone your source data uses
• The units your source uses for temperature, wind, rain, and pressure

Choose your path

If you want Meteobreeze to start collecting current observations as soon as possible, set up a live source first. Once that is working, use the historical import guides to bring in older records.
