Check Whether Data Is Arriving

Verify that Meteobreeze is receiving and processing live observations.

Check Whether Data Is Arriving

Use this page after you configure a live source. It helps you confirm that packets are reaching Meteobreeze and being recorded correctly.

What to check

Open Settings > Data sources and look for:

  • Source status
  • Last packet time
  • Last rollup time
  • Recent packets
  • Any error message

What you should expect

  • The source should show as active when packets are flowing.
  • Last packet should update shortly after a successful request.
  • Recent packets should show the latest live observations.
  • Last rollup may lag slightly because Meteobreeze groups live data into 5-minute historical windows.

Common issues

  • If the source is disabled, re-enable it before testing again.
  • If the status is error, read the error message and check the source setup.
  • If packets arrive but the dashboard looks unchanged, wait for the next 5-minute rollup.
  • If there are no recent packets, test the source URL directly and check the device or script that sends it.

FAQ

  • How fast should packets appear? Usually within moments of a successful request.
  • Why is the rollup time different from the packet time? Because live packets are aggregated into historical rows.
