Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 June 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Meteobreeze, the weather station website and dashboard service operated by Without Limits Digital Ltd ("Meteobreeze," "we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account, connecting a station, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

2. Description of the service

Meteobreeze helps personal weather station owners publish, manage, and share station data through hosted dashboards, station pages, widgets, imports, and related tools.

The service is currently offered in a limited preview state. Some features may change, be delayed, or be removed, and we do not guarantee that any feature described on the marketing site will be available at all times.

3. Accounts and account security

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is being used in breach of these Terms or your use presents a genuine security risk, legal risk, or material risk to the operation, integrity, or availability of the service.

4. Acceptable use

  • use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • try to bypass authentication, rate limits, or other technical safeguards
  • share login credentials, access tokens, ingest keys, or similar access credentials except where we expressly allow it
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law prevents that restriction
  • interfere with another user's station, dashboard, account, or data
  • upload or transmit malware, malicious code, or abusive traffic
  • use automated means to scrape, benchmark, mirror, or access the service in a way that imposes unreasonable load, circumvents intended limits, or competes with Meteobreeze
  • abuse any API, import pathway, live ingest endpoint, export feature, storage allocation, bandwidth allocation, or other technical resource
  • submit data or content you do not have the right to use, share, or publish
  • connect third-party software, devices, databases, API keys, or integrations you are not authorised to use
  • misrepresent station ownership, location, or permissions
  • create fake stations, mass accounts, or repetitive automated traffic intended to manipulate, test, or degrade the service without our written permission

We may investigate misuse and remove content, disable imports, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or third parties.

5. Your content, station data, and licences

You retain ownership of the data, text, station metadata, historical readings, live readings, notes, and other material you submit to the service ("Your Content").

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and adapt Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service for you.

If you choose to publish a station page, enable map sharing, or use a public station URL, you instruct us to display the relevant parts of Your Content publicly.

You confirm that you have all rights needed to submit Your Content, connect a data source, and authorise any imports, live data feeds, devices, databases, API keys, and third-party integrations you configure.

6. Data ownership and portability

Your station data remains yours. Meteobreeze does not claim ownership of your weather readings or station history.

We may provide export tools or data access features from time to time. You are responsible for keeping your own backups where that matters to you, especially before deleting a station or account.

Unless we state otherwise, if your account is terminated or closed, we will use reasonable efforts to keep export access available for up to 30 days after termination so you can retrieve your data, after which we may delete it in line with our retention practices. We do not guarantee export compatibility with every third-party system.

We may create and use aggregated or de-identified usage and performance data that does not identify you or your station owner account for analytics, service improvement, and operational reporting.

7. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Meteobreeze service, including its software, branding, design, interfaces, documentation, and other content other than Your Content.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the service for its intended purpose while your account remains active.

The service is licensed, not sold. No ownership of the service or any intellectual property rights is transferred to you, and no implied licences are granted.

8. Third-party services and integrations

The service relies on third-party providers, including hosting, authentication, mapping, email, bot protection, and error monitoring providers. It may also connect to third-party station software, data exporters, or databases that you choose to use.

We are not responsible for third-party products, services, or data sources, or for outages, data loss, formatting problems, or other failures caused by them.

Continuous imports, live data feeds, alerts, and station updates depend on third-party hardware, software, internet connectivity, and external providers, and may fail or be delayed for reasons outside our reasonable control.

9. Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, feedback, bug reports, or other comments about the service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without restriction and without any obligation to you.

10. Fees, billing, and future paid plans

Meteobreeze is currently available without billing during limited preview. If we introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or paid add-ons, we will present the applicable pricing, billing cycle, renewal terms, and cancellation method before you are charged.

Unless we state otherwise, future subscription fees will be billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods by giving reasonable prior notice.

If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade access to paid features after notice.

11. Free features, trials, preview, and beta features

Free features, preview access, and any future trial periods may have feature limits, storage limits, station limits, or other restrictions.

We may change or discontinue free, preview, or trial offerings at any time. If a trial converts to a paid subscription in future, we will disclose the conversion terms clearly before any charge is made.

We may also label features as beta, experimental, labs, early access, or preview. Those features may be incomplete, change without notice, be unsupported, or be withdrawn entirely, and should not be relied on as production-critical functionality.

12. Availability and support

We aim to keep Meteobreeze available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation and we do not offer a service-level agreement unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service integrity.

We may provide support by email or through other published channels, but we do not guarantee support availability or response times unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

13. Security and disclaimers

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect the service and your data, but no internet service can be completely secure.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Weather data, imports, station visualisations, and alerts may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate for reasons outside our control.

Meteobreeze is a presentation and publishing service, not a safety-critical monitoring system. You should not rely on the service for emergency response, life safety, or situations where inaccurate or delayed data could cause injury or property damage.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, or use.

Subject to the consumer-law protections that apply to you, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms is limited to the greater of GBP 100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

For consumers, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights, and any liability limits in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted under applicable consumer law.

15. Suspension, discontinuation, and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use presents a genuine security risk, legal risk, or material risk to the operation of the service or other users.

We may discontinue all or part of the service by giving reasonable notice where reasonably practicable.

You can delete your account from your account settings page at /settings/account. If you cannot access that page, you can contact us at [email protected]. After termination, we may delete Your Content and account data in line with our operational processes, the export period above, and the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy, subject to any legal obligations to keep certain records for longer.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, disputes, and miscellaneous terms.

16. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delay, interruption, or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the cause is beyond our reasonable control, including failures of hosting providers, internet or telecommunications networks, denial-of-service attacks, labour disputes, acts of government, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, or widespread third-party platform outages.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, excluding conflict-of-laws rules.

If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of the country where you live. If you are bringing a consumer claim, you may do so in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice by email or through the service at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service before the updated Terms take effect.

19. Electronic communications

You agree that we may provide notices, disclosures, and other communications to you electronically, including by email, through your account, or by posting them through the service.

20. Miscellaneous

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service, unless we enter into a separate written agreement with you.
